How much money did Jordan lose before the dunk contest started? He was really harsh tonight. And I know Dwight Howard is close to 7 feet, but that dunk with the sticker was the best one of the night. |

There's so little creativity eft for the dunk contest so when I saw Howard do the "sticker" dunk I also thought it was one of the best of the night. |

The other dunk i thought was great was Nate Robinson's 360 after bouncing the ball off the backboard... Problem was it took him 10 tries to get it to go in... If he made it in on his first try.. that would would have been a highlite... The guy is 5'6-5'7 and can do a 360 dunk is incredible. |

I felt that Gerald Green did have the best 4 overall, though.... |

Overall, I thought the contest was pretty decent although I would've liked to have seen Iguodala in this one. I was very disappointed in Tyrus though. He didn't even look remotely like he gave a shit about being there and that showed in the shitty, basic-looking dunks he tried to do. He's thrown 'em down better than that in some actual games. I guess he was really telling the truth in his interview. |

I watch it every year out of habbit but the dunk contest always sucks. I like the 3 point contest the best. It's simple. Who can make the most 3's? No judges. Just a straight competition. There is nothing complex about it. It's just fun to watch what guy will do it each year. I read in the paper that Jordan was out until the wee hours of the moring the night before the dunk contest. It showed. He looked hung over and like he wanted nothing to do with judging the dunk contest. He was just lifting his 7 and 8 cards no matter what the dunk was. He was bored as hell. He just wanted to get back to the tables. |

Quote: Jordan. Single. Vegas. All-star weekend. His birthday. Imagining the extent of what could have gone down gives me headaches.
It probably made Sodom and Gamorrah look like a Chrismas Mass. |

I'm a little late to the party, but I thought that Tyrus had the 3rd best dunk of the first round. Howard's was the best, than Gerald Green off the side of the back board. But for Tyrus to jump over Ben Gordon (who is probably around 6'1") and throw down with his left hand was pretty impressive. |

Yeah, jumping over someone nearly my height is pretty impressive when I stop and consider it. |

Tyrus had about as much enthusiam and charisma during the contest as Tim Perry or Darvin Ham when they were in it. If you've never seen those two contests, thank yourself. |
