I am not seeing this as a fubar. The Suntimes article from yesterday had quotes indicating Montador thought a move to Rockford was probably going to happen. The issue seems to be the stint is going to be longer than 14 days, especially considering Q believes the defense is just fine as constructed, young uns playing pretty well and all.

So, my guess is he will clear waivers considering the amount/length of the contract and concussive buildup Montador has incurred.

What am I missing here?
