I know they've been blown out in a game or two, but I'd be hard pressed to say there was a worse performance by the Hawks all season. Aside from Ben Smith the entire team was god awful. Never seen that many turnovers from our defense in one game.

Speaking of Ben Smith, once again Q shows that even a 2 time Cup winning coach can be an idiot as he waited until #11 to call the number of the best player on the ice. I was screaming at the tv for about 6 rounds to let Smith go before he finally got a shot. The guy is playing better than anyone on the team yet he has to wait until bums like Shaw, Kruger and Pirri go before getting a shot at the shootout?

And speaking of bad coaching, can someone please explain the fascination with Handzus? Great move Q, team is scoring 5 goals a game and Kane is on fire so seems like a perfect time to mess with his line, right?

That said, Pirri did play awful last night, but some of that may have to do with the fact that Q hates his guts so Pirri has to play scared all night since any mistake he makes usually leads to a benching.
