Latest rumors I'm hearing around the rink is that Sharp banged a teammates wife/gf which led to a team brawl. And there is also a rumor that he might've banged the dead equipment manager's wife before the suicide.


Second one sounds far fetched, but if its true that he is going after his friends' wives/gfs then he is just about the biggest scumbag on Earth. I knew a guy like that who used to always hit on "friends" wives. Needless to say that guy was on the receiving end of some epic beatings. One time he was playing minor league hockey and he banged one of his teammates wife/gf. After practice the teammate came into the locker room and walked up to the guy (who was sitting down) and gave him a 100% full on 65 yard field goal kick to the face while wearing a skate. Lost several teeth as a result.

Not to gloat but I think I connected these dots months ago. If we get confirmation on this, I don't want Sharp associated with this team post-career in any way. He should be practically Chris Benoited. I have a lot of allowances for athletes being scumbags, but this would be a new low.

hockey community is pretty small, especially since the Hawks practice at the rink most of us have games at. Plus it helps that I play on a team with a guy named Wirtz. Also have good friends that do a lot of advertising with the Hawks (they rep Hawk Auto) so they get a lot of inside info.

The rumor I heard was that Kane was doing some locker room ball-busting about Sharp fucking anything that moved (including Cheryl Scott) and Sharp took exception to that and began pounding the fuck out of Kane. The front office was none too happy and considered dumping Sharp right then.
