I was at Game 2

The stereo type is true. Blackhawks women fans are tough, mean-looking broads (Sorry, best way to describe them). Doesn't mean some of them weren't hot. Some were. Doesn't mean some weren't nice. I'm sure some were. But these are girls that aren't there to be seen. They care. I was shocked at how many women were in attendance.

I was on the concourse in the 300 level at each intermission. Observed the passing scene. Also saw a lot of meatball dudes. It's something. Different than Bears, Bulls, Cubs and Sox games.

From my experience, the average Hawks fan chick tends to be a higher class than Bears fans. Largely due to the Hawks being the current 'it' team in town.

By the way, their pregame intro right before the game is spectacular. I had no idea they did that on the ice. It was pretty damn cool. When did they start doing that?

I never saw more brutal fan fights in the stands than I did during Blackhawks games at the Stadium back in the day. Late 70's thru the 80s. Dudes got their asses beat

I got these tickets through ticketmaster about 6 weeks ago when they put their limited tickets to the public on sale.

I figured I'd try to flip them on stub hub and make some money. Or I'd go if I couldn't.

It's a buyers market. A lot of people are selling 300 level tickets below face value the day before the game and all the way up to game time.

I found that shocking. Cuz everybody always says how expensive and tough Hawks tickets are to get. Not the case. You could have bought some below face value a few hours before the game.

I felt stupid buying them for face value. Next time I go I'll just buy them on stubhub. Because if they're below face value for a playoff game, I'd imagine it's the case for a lot of regular season games as well.

Got into a brawl in the parking lot with 20 or so of Chicago's finest circa 1981.

That was something.

Why are playoff tickets well below face on stubhub?

I'm talking $20 to $30 below face. With the stub hub fees included so the seller is actually losing $40 to $50 per ticket when stub hub takes their cut from them.

Not now. If you went to look for game 5 tickets they're all above face value. But come day before the game, if it's like Game 2, they'll all come down.

It just doesn't make sense to me that playoff tickets aren't in high demand.
