Blackhawks only had 21 shots on goal 7, 6, 8.....which per my guy Jurko, might not be such a great indicator as a SOG is not recorded unless the goalie touches the puck or it goes in...so anything wide or blocked isnt recorded...

TB had 15 blocked shots, Hawks had 11.

Almost feel like Crow had a shutout, KIllorn's goal was pretty damn impressive....noitced he made a couple of passes with that same behind the back motion, so it isnt going to come as a surprise anymore.

I agree with one of the resident NHL experts thoughts that more shots on goal will happen in game #2 by both teams though....not just TB. Problem for TB is that the Hawks got some great looks in that game and if you think Toews and Kane are going to keep missing shots from in front of the gola, thats a bad wager to make.

See SOME similar skills in the TB team, but Dunks and Hammer are the difference...those guys are studs. Hammer is awesome, that guy lays out more over the years in these playoff games than anyone I have seen.

what i saw was a quick little tb team that came out and blew their load early, then daddy hawks said fuck this and destroyed them.

i wouldnt be surprised if tb doesnt win a game.

SOG is a very misleading statistic. I hate it.

Hawks could and should sweep, but Tampa is good and will likely take one at home.

It only counts as a shot if it would have gone in if the goalie was not there.
If the goalie stops a puck that would have gone high or wide of the net, it doesn't count as a SOG.

Thats why I think it is misleading, thought both teams had more shots....

Side note, love when Kaner works the middle of the ice....its almost like they let him...and he got a couple of those looks in game #1 even with the defender stuck on him....

I think TB realizes it isn't going to win this series on defense and we see a wide open game Saturday

They don't let him. They just can't stop him. He's one of the best puck handlers I've seen and he's pretty Damn elusive.

Hawks listed as -270 on Saturday. That's a pretty damn heavy game 2 road favorite. Shit man. Tampa is +230. Almost worth it to drop a few on Tampa.
I'm shocked they're such heavy favorites. Will be interesting to see what the sharps do tomorrow and Saturday morning.

Not sure... I got Hawks -160 I think for the series which I thought was high. Or is it low? Whatever. Not much payoff.

Easy Sparky!

The Hawks are -280 with a +1.5 Goal Line....they are a +110 for the Saturday Game, still an underdog...

For the Series they were a -135/40, if you got a -160....well you need some wagering lessons and LOOKING AT DEALS.....

Glad I can be of help....
