Fun game last night, Hawks put on a clinic. Florida barely even touched the puck. Luongo kept the game from being 4-0 after the first.
Highlight of the game was running into, meeting and getting a photo with one of my alltime sports heroes, Mike Eruzione! Him and Jack O'Callahan were in the concourse between periods hanging out and I managed to squeeze in there and get a handshake and a photo with the Captain. I was shaking and had butterflys when I met him, can't remember the last time meeting a famous person had that affect on me.
Well after all you are both Olympic hockey players so to speak.
There's a writer writing a book about my team, he followed us around for the year leading up to the Games and the games themselves. The working title of the book is "Schmiracle on Ice."
