Blues win, 2-1 in OT over the Kings

I think the rest of the Hawks-Wild games will be a lot easier for the Hawks than this one.

Awesome. 3rd line deserved that. Best line all night. Followed my 4th line then 88.

The Hawks play 1 goal games, it's just what they do. But I agree. First 2 periods were meh. 3rd period and OT was classic 2013 Hawks. They're just too good.

That Zucker is a pesky little shit, too. Takes a lot of bad-angle shots that could go his way.

Suter, Brodin and Zucker were probably their 3 best players tonight.

That sounds like a fair assessment. They risk running Suter into the ground, though. How many minutes did he finish with tonight? 36? Wear him down. Brodin, too.

Wasn't too impressed with Parise outside of a few shifts. Didn't hear Koivu's name nearly as much as I expected to.

Bollig is a dead roster space and I don't want to see him again. If Bolland can't go Friday, put in Smith, Morin, Mayers, anyone. Just no more him.

39 Min. And yeah, every time Bollig was on the ice I was terrified. He's alright to have around when you play the Blues in the regular season, but in the playoffs winning sends messages, not fights. Pointless. Scratch.

Koivu was a non-factor. Parise didn't do much offensively but on defense he was a beast.

I'm the biggest Bollig detractor there is, but he played well when he was on the ice. I'd say 2 had the worst game of all Hawks tonight. Followed closely by 20, who was positionally sound, but misplayed countless pucks

Yeah, I think he factored into a lot of those passes that didn't connect or went right into traffic. Let's hope we can just chalk it up to jitters and he gets back to his normally steady self.

Those passes that had two or three defenders just waiting to gobble them up, by the way, really worried me. Happened way too much.

Lots of credit to Crawford, who settled down quite well after the Clutterbuck brainfart. He's doing okay.

Saad seemed like he was being legally assaulted whenever he had the puck.

The Minnesota Wild were allowed to make this game close?

Only saw from 3rd period on, but looked to me like Stalberg, Shaw and Bickell were the Hawks best line during that time. Was nice to see them finish it.

Hawks out hit the Wild 40-36.

Game Winning Goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 0sgb2qSc4#!

Looking back at it, everything about it is just beautiful. Shaw comes flying in with a nice hit to knock the puck free and Oduya's pass is just incredible. This team is too good at hockey.

#7 was much worse than 2 or 20. I've been reading online a lot of comments at HF about how Seabrook has been terrible this season, but I hadn't noticed. So last night I made a point to watch him and he was nothing short of brutal. At best he looks slow out there and at worst I would call it disinterested. Just about every clearing attempt or pass he made was ineffective. And how bout the time he stood there and watched the Wild guy take 3 or 4 good whacks at Crawford before finally stepping in and doing something about it?

Interesting. I have it saved on DVR, Ill rewatch keeping an eye out for him. From looking at some stats today, definitely one of those where the eye test watching doesn't match up to #'s at least after one watch.. Only one Hawk in - Corsi and that was Bickell. Stalberg only a +1. Keith was a +10 and Seabrook at +8

Seabrook's season has been so bad that I'd like to see the Hawks try to move him this summer. Last night was no exception. Lazy clearing attempts, no hustle, etc and compared to games during the regular season, last night was one of his better games. Bad.

No way, the Hawks defense would have zero size and there's nothing immediate in the pipeline. Selling low also never is a good idea.

If you are unhappy with Hawks defense try watching a Penguins game and those matadors. Especially the over loved feminine Letang.

Who says he doesn't bounce back? Hjalmarsson was brutal for most of 2011 and has bounced back to be our best stay-at-home.

Seabrook maybe playing injured through the season? He did take that shot in the "lower body area" earlier in the season...

Pominville out for Game 2, as are Bolland and Emery. Darcy Kuemper up from Houston to back up Harding or to start outright.
