Accuser tried to leave Kane's house many times prior to rape, but was unable to do since Kane's house is enchanted and the rooms are constantly rearranging themselves so that all doors just lead to more doors.

What does that even mean? Too much ecstasy?

Bernstein hasn't given them permission to rip Rose yet. He loves his basketball too much to do that.

And just as we judge Kane based his loutish frat boy behavior and it's completely fair to do so, I also believe it's fair to make judgments about modern Instagram "models".

I don't know if this changes your beliefs but I believe it is her mom that is the one who faked the evidence according to what the DA said.

Okay. If Kane's mom had faked evidence I would consider it the same as Kane doing so. Her mother doing it is no different. She faked evidence on her daughter's behalf. I find it preposterous to believe that it occurred without the daughter's knowledge unless the mother is behind the entire accusation from the beginning, which makes the daughter a perpetrator anyway. The accuser is no longer credible. Why is there a need to fake evidence if you're telling the truth?

I believe there are two people on the internet that have that same name. First name spelled with a "y" is a swimsuit model in Hawaii.

The other spelled with an "i" is a student in NY.

I agree that the whole case is done because of it. I just tend to believe this was an irrational mother trying to help her daughter in the most illogical way possible. Didn't the lawyer who quit basically say "Mom is a liar?".

If I'm the accuser, and I believe I have truth on my side, I'm not letting something like this happen which had a 0% chance of success.

That's about as ridiculous as believing if Kane's shady cop driver were caught tampering with evidence ( like a lot of people believed before last week anyway) 2 days after DNA tests were leaked implicating Kane that he was just acting on his own and not ordered by Kane to do it or that Kane had no knowledge he was doing so. Had that happened everyone one of these Kane is guilty no matter what crowd would have been screaming SEE, HE'S GUILTY!!!!!

Kane isn't even going to get charged because of this. Keep on fighting the good fight though.

What he's saying is that you can imagine what DiCaro, Graham, et al would be saying if someone from Kane's camp had faked evidence. But it's the other way and they're doing everything they can to downplay it.

The accuser has no credibility, but people like DiCaro and Graham are dug in so deep they just can't back off. They remind me of when a prosecutor gets a conviction and then DNA evidence discredits that conviction and then the guy actually confesses. Instead of releasing the innocent guy from jail, the prosecutor says, "They must have been in it together!"

Ok then. I disagree, and so does the lawyer who quit on them.

Well, I'm not so sure about the lawyer. Who did he represent, the mother or the daughter? You say he quit on "them". You see why this is so problematic for their side. My guess would be that if you got the lawyer alone and off the record, he'd say something like, "These fucking people are crazy."

The lawyer represented the accuser and he specifically blamed the mother as did the DA the next day. From what I understand, the mother was supposedly in possession of the bag the whole time. I think she just had a breakdown while the case was slowly slipping away and did something really stupid. If badrogue wants to think that this was a grand conspiracy by the whole family then he has that right.

I don't think it was a "grand conspiracy", but I tend to believe the daughter knew what the mother (or whoever) was doing. Frankly, I'm not sure the accuser remembers what happened on the night in question. When the facts about the DNA evidence leaked, I think she knew her case was getting shaky.

Yeah, but you at least seem to acknowledge that it may have just been an irrational mother doing something irrational and destroying the whole case.

Of course, we never know the relationship between the mother and daughter, but I cant imagine the mother and daughter not talking about every turn of this event.

One thing I'm sure about, Tim Graham and Julie DiCaro have both been far from fair and unbiased in covering this from the beginning.

I think Graham has a hard on for Kane because Kane is a well known douchebag in the Buffalo area. And I think DiCaro has a modern feminist view of male/female relations and simply believes that a woman accusing a man should be believed unless and until video surfaces that calls her story into question, and maybe she should still be believed even then.

On a somewhat related note, I just read an article in the Reader about "rape culture" at the University of Chicago. There were a bunch of stories in the article detailing "rapes" that I think a lot of reasonable people of both genders wouldn't classify as rapes. In one of the stories, a woman googled rape to find out if she had indeed been raped. I would just say this: If you have to use to Google to figure out if you've been raped, you haven't been.

In the lawyers defense, the mom and the accuser were in the room when the rape kit came out and was collected. If one of those people positively identify something don't you give them the benefit of the doubt. I would assume the nurse/doctor would explain what is in the rape kit to her and what they are collecting. I think the daughter should have had a pretty good idea what the rape kit was at this point.

Where was the accuser in this from the point the mom gave the kit to the lawyer and him going public with it. Wouldn't you think they let her have a look at it to confirm that's what it was? Or are they saying she was totally in the dark on this and the mother and lawyer were going public with this.

Its bullshit, she knew that wasn't police evidence when he presented. And that is why her lawyer pulled out (much like kane did)

It was actually a rape kit bag for the rape kit, which isn't a thing that exists.

Relationship was good enough for her to be living at home still and for her to want mother in the room while getting checked out. If it was sour enough for the mom to intentionally derail, i don't think either one of those would happen.

Kane is an elite NHL player who is very bad person.
Some young lady from Buffalo is a moron who was drunk in a bar at 2:00 and foolishly went home with a man she doesn't know.
Maybe a rape happened. Maybe drunken sex happened.
At this point, I don't know and the story is now really old.

Young ladies....use your brain and don't go home with strange men.
Men....no means no.
Patrick Kane...your probably a lost cause at this point.
John McDonough....You need to hire a full-time babysitter to protect the investment you have in #88
