I don't understand how Toews gets a penalty there - he did nothing but try to stop the thuggery. Or is he serving for Craw?

This 4 to 1 lead I'd tenuous at best. Last 5:00 minutes can't go by fast enough

Can't hit what you can't catch. You can count on one hand how many times Patrick Kane has been lit up in his career.

Would be nice if he get start getting on the scoresheet along with Toews. MAybe its a bit like a MLB lineup where youll always have guys going well and guys slumping but if those 2 could get hot, along with Hossa and Sharp just being steady contribuyors like theyve been doing this would be a sweep easily.

A few thoughts...

Duncan Keith's last 2 games have been 2 of the best games I have ever seen played by an NHL Defenseman. He was a Man this weekend.

Nick Leddy is Duncan Keith's successor. I love this kid. He's gonna be a star.

Dave Bolland should be scratched in game 3. His game has gone to shit. However, he did light Richards up in game 1 causing him to miss game 2 so props to Bolland for that.

Kaner needs to show up. I cant believe how he has become a non factor & cant find open ice or the puck.

I was a Crawford detractor early in the season. I am now a believer. If he can improve his glove skills, he could become a top 3 Goalie in the NHL.

Bickel may be pricing himself out of the Hawks budget. I hope not. He's been great & is the only guy willing to get physical & play in front of the net.

The 3rd line with Shaw has been great. The #1 line needs to start producing if the Hawks are going to win the cup.

Darryl Sutter is a surely bastard & an easy guy to root against.

Hawks beat LA 4 games to 1.

Did Engblom interview Sutter tonight? Usually the ice-level guy gets both coaches. I suspect Sutter told NBC to fuck off.

Also, I've watched old Hawks games where Darryl Sutter was head coach and he seemed like a fairly normal human being, by hockey coach standards. What happened in the interim that he became this weird cross between Bill Murray and a retarded person?

He had a sweet saucer to set up Sharp in the slot, won a puck battle along the boards to spring Sharp and Handzus for the 4th goal and set up Leddy with a even sweeter backhand saucer for Leddy to unleash a slapper. Kane's doing work.

I don't get the folks that are complaining about Kane. He has had a great year and while he may not be getting some of his normal stats he is causing the Kings a bunch of problems as they have to continually account for him which opens up things for everyone else. Kane is fine.

Agreed. Kane had a solid game. Had a few quality chances himself and set up others in typical gorgeous Kaner fashion.

He's due for a 4 point game. Kaner is coming...

Has anyone noticed Seabrook passing up on hits? Most of the team is finishing their checks, but Seabrook seems to be actively avoiding contact. It surprises me that is he not more physical.
