I see how it is.

Last night you can't get your tongue outta my mouth and today I'm on the pay-no-mind list.

I was drunk, you were a one night fling.

About to head out to Pop's to watch the game. I'll have drunken things to say after the game.

No hard feelings.

Why won't he call?

I don't understand this post. He has a concuscion, its black and white. Either he's 100% or he's not. There's no grey area with that type of injury. You are either 100% symptom free or you're not. Its not like any other injury where you can still give it a go before you are 100%. With the concuscions, they won't let you play until you are 100% symptom free. So if Toews is still feeling symptoms they have no choice but to sit him. If Toews says he is 100% symptom free and he passes all the objective testing then there is no doubt he will be on the ice.

But, since as of last week Toews has said he's not symptom free my guess is there's a real good chance he won't be ready to go by Wednesday night. The importance of the game has no bearing on when you return from this type of injury. Not anymore.

So if Toews isn't out there for game 1 it won't be a unilateral decision by the team, it will mean he still has symptoms and therefore is not allowed to play.

I don't think he is 100%. He should sit.

If you all will kneel down with me, I'm about to say a prayer for our beloved Hawks....

Dear thing that probably isn't real,

Give thy Hawks strength to bring us back Lord Stanley's Cup,
Let them be strong, let them be physical, let them be smart,
Give them thy strength to have thy opponents before them perish,
Give them thy heart and thy will to progress,
Take this cold Curious Hair heart and tame it,
Let him feel love and passion for thy beloved Hawks,
Rest thy Curious One's mind and give him peace,
Let him know that all thy troubles do not warrant worry,
Let crosscheck see that thy crown in not the way,
But that thy indian head is the only true way to worship,
Let badrogue see that Kane is not thy enemy,
But a friend that is part of thy Blackhawk family,
Then let thy shakes embrace thy badrogue,
Let them love, cherish, enjoy each other's company
Let thy Northside Dan's passion and fire be for a reason,
Let him smile and be proud of thy Hawks,
Bless our Hawks ole thing in thy sky,
And give us thy Cup

There is only one god who I pray to, and his name is Dustin Brown...

If he gets bumped in the noggin, it's on your shoulders, which is already supporting quite a load.

They should have trotted him out against the Blues or the Canucks, that would have been a lot safer then against the terrifying Coyotes...

Then he'd have a hat trick and people would throw their hats on the ice. Geez you don't know much for a hockey fan.

What if they slam him into the boards and he can't play for a year, or ever?

That could happen next week, next month, next year.
Play him.

You really think he is a hundo? I don't. You could be doing more damage that he cannot then heal from. I can direct you to B&Bs podcasts if you want. You'll see.

BTW why is DB all CTE crazy but lets his son play hockey?

How about we give you a concussion, then drive you into a concrete pillar a few weeks later? We can wait 4 weeks or 6 months before I then bang your head into the boards. Your choice.

Just because it took Crosby a year to recover doesn't mean that it takes everyone that long. He needs to test it. He needs to know where he's at, he will never know unless he plays. Maybe 2 months is all he needs... Maybe he can never get past it...

They can. I like some teams in the east better, but the west is wide open.

Maybe if Pittsburgh didn't piss it away last night I'd agree with you, but Boston? New York? Philly? All are beatable, more-so than any team in the west.

I think Philly looked good the last 30 days or so. Bryzgalov looked like a #1 finally. That's my pick to come out of the east.
I know Lundqusit usually sucks in the playoffs, but he's better than most goalies in the west and they have talent in front of him.
Pittsburgh is talented and has been there before.
