You realize you do almost nothing but complain about them? Or say how bad they are?

These guys just pissed an Eastern Conference game down their leg and you're taking it out on me?

lol that the Devils are a better team than the Hawks so far this year. That's just sad.

Did you just start reading CH?

This is what he does.

The season is already over.

Blackhawks embarrass themselves and everyone takes it out on me, a mere fan. Bunch of Bernsteins up in here.

No what I saw tonight was not good and really they haven't looked good yet. I don't like some of the new players but we are where we are. Keith is out. They still always have a chance. Enjoy the game occasionally or at least acknowledge there is always a chance and we have some immense talent on this team. They won the stanley cup last year and I don't think you enjoyed any of it.

I'm not a huge Crawford fan. He did stuff I didn't like tonight but I'm not going to come on here and be completely irrational about it. I dunno. I have a tough time with you sometimes, CH. I think you have great opinions and thoughts, I learn a lot from you. Other times I just want to say shut up! I don't want to hear it!

The Stars won 6-3, so at least that helps keep the fifth-place Jets within striking distance. That's what we're looking at, being glad the fifth-place team is still within striking distance.

This was a Crawford loss all the way. We're getting used to those lately. I mean, the fact that the 2016 Blackhawks are the National 13th Forward Convention doesn't help, but this is all on Crawford. Three puppy-soft goals against.

His opinions this year (about a suspect team) are the same as a Cup-winning team from last year.
But if a person's opinions of a Cup-winning team mirror the opinions of a mediocre team, well, then, you know.....it's fair to question the observer.
He trolls about the Hawks. It's his thing. It's what he does.

I don't get it. i think the games are fun to watch. Kane taking on 5 players and panarin's goal to tie was awesome. Sure I'm disappointed they lost but good gravy just enjoy what's there sometimes.

Its time to consider that Hossa is the problem with the first line as opposed to the revolving door of LWingers. I'd like to see these lines next game..

Dano-Toews-TT
Best line in hockey
Shaw-Kero-Hossa
Hartman-Kruger-Desi

I would also consider Hinnostrova as that third line LW and move Shaw down to line 4.

Defense I'm ready for this hopefully this weekend...

Keith-Seabrook
TVR-Hammer
Daley-Gustafsson

Deck chairs.

But yeah, the likelihood that Hossa is finished as a top-sixer is not one I'm ready to confront.

You guys are way too hard on CH.

yes, he leans toward the dark cloud / glass half empty side of things, but his specific comments about the players are usually quite accurate.

Take into consideration....this is not a bad team. This is a team of elite talent seriously underperforming. That is harder to swallow than a bad team. Last season....they did the same thing for a very long stretch.

This team will still make the playoffs and then it's all about the elite talent. another cup? probably not, but the seeding is over-rated. We've been spoiled by a great run of hockey.

I think Hoss and the Captain have an entire 4 regulation goals between the two of them so far. Everyone on the 2nd line has that many on their own.

In worse news......Gustaffson is off to Rockford so old man river rozsi can return. I don't mind Rozsi coming back to play every other game. What I do mind is shitbird Rundblad still being around. I thought Gus and Sved had both played pretty well (sved has gotten better and Gus has been pretty solid in his few weeks). Both have outplayed awful Daley who was down on the 3rd pairing last night. They will both be in Rockford though and awful Rundblad and Daley will remain and remain awful.

wait, they really sent Gustaffson back to Rockford??? He was easily the best D man they've brought in since TVR. Better than Daley.

That didn't take long. Sved is back in Rockford and 2 is back. Rundblad can just go fuck off already. Rozsi should be the one on the treadmill most nights while one of those 2 youngins logs NHL minutes.

I'm afraid this could be the beginning of the end for Hossa. I hope not, but he just isn't the same...and Crawford has been bad 3 of the last 4 games. However, lets not forget some of the horrible stretches last season. I may not be as optimistic about this years Hawks team as I was last year, but there are 7 Months left in the season & this team & organization always finds a way to figure things out.

Amidst the angst, Hawks record after 16 games: 8-7-1.

Record after 16 games last season: 9-6-1.

If I remember last season correctly, the pre-circus-trip segment was marked by amazing efforts with awful luck (a throw-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink game against Calgary looms in my mind), followed by getting the bad luck back by torching the league through November and December, then spending the next three months sucking their own balls provided Cheryl Scott wasn't available to do it for them.

I don't think I'd characterize the beginning of this season as amazing efforts with awful luck. They've mostly played the decidedly weaker Eastern Conference and other than sticking it to league-worst Columbus and winning both games with Long Island, they haven't even been that impressive against the junior circuit, not with that Philadelphia shutout, that Caps game that was never in doubt, and two losses to a team with #1 center Adam Henrique. If anything, they had amazing luck getting 120+ minutes of shutout hockey across back-to-back 1-0 three-on-three wins, and sure enough, they regressed to the mean right after with Winnipeg and Minnesota taking them to the cleaners. What few games the Hawks have played within their division, undeniably the strongest of the four, they've lost. So no, I would say similarities between last year's start and this year's start are as superficial as can be. They're going to have to get their asses in gear.
