I think that was misconstrued. They had an excellent shot of Hossa being put onto the stretcher with Toews closely watching while the Coyotes bench gave him the stick applause.

Toews took affront to their tribute and seemed to gesture to their bench that Hossa's horrific injury is their doing from their guy. I felt it was an awesome moment for the captain sending a clear message.
