Some of you guys think the only way Kane will be charged and/or convicted is if there is some type of video of the incident. She a ton going in her favor. If she called a family member and went to the hospital right away, it shows that she was somewhat alert to waht is going on and wasn't zonked on some drugs or totally smashed. A blood test has been done and they will be able to venture her level of intoxication at the time of the incident.

By all accounts, the victim is a educated and professional. You don't think if she goes on the stand and tells her side of the story that it won't have a major impact on a jury? Her friend will be able to corroborate a lot of her testimony and the timeline. The victim will say she only went to Kane's house to accompany the friend, and the friend would confirm this. After the rape, the friend will be able to talk about her demeanor and actions. The family member on the other end of the phone call will speak about the victim's tone and what they said.

Rape kit takes an average of 60 hours of actual lab work per kit. That's time in the lab doing science stuff. On average. Who knows if they even started analyzing the rape kit in Kaner's case.

The US has a backlog of like 400K rape kits. I believe NY State had one of the worst backlogs; but they changed the procedures last decade and have chipped away at their backlog.

Even if they "fast-track" Kaner's rape kit, I wouldn't expect the lab to do an average job. Wouldn't be surprised if they have every test run twice, by different techs. So now you're at 120 hours or more of actual lab time.

I don't expect to see the rape kit results until late September/early October. Maybe later. People have been charged and convicted of rape years later, based on rape kit results. Happens all the time. There's a reason they do rape kits. Rape kits have become very probative in court in criminal trials.

Let me give you a lesson in critical thinking regarding the so called evidence in that article.

The article states that the accusuer only went to Kane's house to accompany a friend.

This is based on 3 sources...

Source 1: A friend of the accuser who wasn't even there that night.
Source 2 and 3: A law enforcement official and an attorney who are familiar with the case.

Let's take a closer look at those sources. We can skip #1 cause even I can assume that you people aren't stupid enough to buy that as a legit source.

Now on to #2 and #3. THe writer describes those two in the same sentence as being familiar with the case. What does that mean, to be familiar with the case? It sure doesn't mean the same thing as being CONNECTED to the case. As we know there are only 2 lawyers in the world that are connected with this case, Cambria and the attorney for the accusuer. So who is this attorney source then? Just some lawyer walking down the street in Buffalo who was around for an interview? As for the law enforcement official, if he was a legit source he wouldn't be grouped with the lawyer and given the same level of familiarity by the writer. he would be listed as an official closely connected to the investigation. For all we know he's just some cop walking down the street who was grabbed for an interview.

Neither one of those "sources" have firsthand knowledge of the case If they did surely the author would've said that since it would obviously give the sources more credibility. Instead he gives them the vague qualifier of being familiar with the case. You know who else is familiar with the case and is an attorney? Me. And probably 1000s of others too. You guys reading this? Also familiar with the case.

All 3 "sources" are a joke and yet you morons are falling for it like the rubes you are.

Then the article goes into full anti-Kane smear mode by interviewing friends and co-workers of the accuser to talk about how great she is.

And oh yea, last but not least, the writer wants you to know that Kane's SC party sucked.


There was an article earlier from this paper smearing the accuser, obviously they took a lot of heat for that and this is clearly the rebuttal piece in an attempt to balance the smear scales.

The Buffalo News has reported that their sources say after the two women went to Kane’s home on Old Lakeshore Road the accuser says she went into a room by herself “where Kane followed her, overpowered her and raped her.”

There might be marks on Kane and we dont know if the bites or scratches do exist on the girl, but remember, its very plausible that if they do exist that she could have requested such marks, per the Beardown & Beardown firm.
