Good lord they’re gonna win this game

Did Kane hurt himself on that diving empty-netter attempt?

Nice to see them score first for once.

Did they score without the other teams consent?
Very hockey of them.

20 more in a row and they might be in the playoff hunt

I ended up listening to the first two periods because I was driving for work between Dallas and Texarkana and the Chicago stations were coming in strong even at 7pm, and 670 had the DePaul-Chicago State tilt.

Fuck Seabrook in the ass with his stick, then twist it around a few dozen revolutions.

The Penguins are pretty much mediocre now, but still nice to see a win.

Why? At this point, shouldn't you want them to lose for the pick?

They're headed for the lottery either way. If they win some games and look competitive at least we know Colliton isn't totally in over his head and Q wasn't axed for the second coming of Trent Yawney.

And I'm a meatball who still hates Pittsburgh for '92.

Yeah there is no joy for hockey here either. Crosby has slid way down the talent scale.

Could be worse, could be St. Louis. Their window apparently is closed and unlike the Hawks, Pens and Kings they don't have a single Cup to show for it.

St. Louis had more of a transom than a legit window.

My hockey guy just decreed it. Only four teams can win the Stanley Cup: Tampa, Washington, Toronto, or Nashville.

1 of those 4 is a guarantee to not make it to their conference finals.

He said he'll jump off the roof if anyone other than one of those four wins.

Your guy is sleeping on the Jets, who are one good deadline move (defenseman) away from being right up there with the contenders. Rinne's another year older (and closer to death) and less likely to get past Winnipeg's firepower.

So when do we see Crow again? Gotta figure he’ll be in a dark room for a while.

At what point do the doctors declare him done and he ends up on LTIR and the Hawks get more cap relief?

He only has 1 more year after this year, on that contract. Yes, 6mill next year would be great.

50 Shades Of Ward. This is going to get even uglier fast.

Also, they decided they'd rather have Jokiharju play for Finland at the World Junior Championships than spend more time picking up Seabrook's bad habits.

Wiedeman has had a few games like that where he tries to work through laryngitis that he just can't work through. I think one time Judd Sirott had to finish the game.

He really should have taken the night off. This is tough to listen to. I am in the airport (again), so radio is the best option. I like a well called hockey game on the radio owing to the days when it was the only way to listen to home games.

Pete Weber over on the Nashville side is pretty good. Used to be an understudy for Rick Jeanneret in Buffalo.

another 2 meaningless points picked up over Dallas. Keep playing like this and we'll just be mediocre and never draft the talent we need.

If Bowman were smart, he would start shipping talent off.

Yeap. I find myself actively rooting against the Hawks. Ward playing well hurts this team in the long run.
