First period was good. Everyone was going hard to the net and Hawks got an early lead. Detroit starting pushing a little more and it was the lazy Bolland turnover that lead to tying goal that really changed this game around. This is all Wings so far.

Q will get they back in focus for the 3rd and they will come back. But you are right, Detroit took all the momentum(Hawks had it for most of the 1st period before Detroit scored) and the Hawks are lucky not to be trailing by more than 1.

Is it me or did we look like we lost our legs towards the end of the 1st period?

Our entries have been ugly again. Can't tell you how many times we've had 3 or 4 guys standing at the blue line while one guy skates across and dumps it but we get beat to the dump bc the other 4 guys had no momentum entering zone.

The other thing, this entire series Detroit has done a great job at taking away kaners time & space. Lost track of how many passes He has tried to make to a defenseman two feet away.
