I'd get Havlat signed first before worrying about the others. They have at least another year before each of them are up. That gives Unkie Dale a little time to try and dump some other high-end crap salaries (Byfuglien, Sopel, etc) to clear some space. That should help - not sure they still will be able to afford all of the others though.

Word on the street is that the flames Mike Cammalleri will be suspended for saturday nights game.

Is the "hits" statistic of any real value? I ask because, according to ESPNs box score, the smaller, softer Blackhawks out-hit the rough-tough Flames 38-24.

It's a completely subjective stat, depending on who is keeping score. Trust your eyes, not the numbers.

Usually the home team outhits the visitor on the stat shett. Strange how that works....

For the 'incident' with Havlat's face right off the draw?

No suspension.

Collin Campbell wrote:
When Cammalleri hit Havlat, there was a lot of risk to doing that. He took a two-minute penalty in a game where there could have been ramifications for doing that. But there are no ramifications when you're losing 4-1 with six seconds left.

So last night I had the fuckhead crew in front of me. It started out small with the old fart taking cell phone calls in the first period. Then I had the 6-5 guy standing up every time there was a shot about to be taken. The kicker was when they played Enter Sandman and fuckhead crew member number 3 went fucking guitar hero with his air guitar. Needless to say, we missed half the damned shots in the game.

Ah, nevermind my other post. This explains why you didn't know Bertuzzi plays with the Flamers.

She would have, but she was playing air drums to the same song.

A few years ago when I lived in the Kansas City area they hosted a preseason game between the Hawks and Blues. I went and had a crew like that sitting right behind me. They were such a pain in the ass. About half way through the 2nd period one of them spills a beer down my back and the dickhead did not say sorry, my bad or anything, just laughed his butt off. If he wasn't about a 6'5" dickhead he would have gotten a piece of my mind.

no she was ready to shove their rally towels up their arses but i had a sleeping kid next to me and didn't want to wake him up. Who the fuq brings a kid to a playoff game on a weeknight then complains they have to get up the next am for work and drop the kid off at daycare?

Perhaps, if one gives a piece of his/her mind, they should only give a small piece for the sake of conservation?

I was trying to remember the same thing, I think he scored during the winning streak towards the end of the season

That was nice. Costly turnover for the Flames.

the passing for the hawks is a lot better tonight, its opening up a lot of opportunities for them, I wonder how much that has to do with the ice surface, on Thursday they were saying that the ice was sticky
