These outdoor games are way overrated. Quality of play is usually bad.

Maybe it would have been a better idea to have Wings-Leafs as the Winter Classic and do Hawks-Blues as a stadium game at the shitty nameless dome no one uses anymore.

Telecast started at 12pm, players not even on the ice at 12:17, and they're now running promo packages for the rivalry, now a promo package on Nelly's pregame concert.

When the fuck does the puck drop? This is annoying, you're not the fucking Super Bowl. Just play the damn game.

Same goes for any regular season NHL game, pretty much.

It wasn't raining 20 minutes ago while they were dicking around with promo packages for a game set to start, but now the fog has rolled in and camera lenses are sporting droplets of water.

Kempny with a goal off a Blue deflection. Hawks looked sharp in those first few shifts.

Please, please stop cutting to cameras with water-covered lenses. Yeah, the robo-cam shot is cool and looks like a video game, but I can't freaking see anything because there's water all over the lens.

Hjarlmasson kicked a puck into his own net. 2-1 Blues with 6.5 minutes left. Game is over.

An awful, lazy-ass turnover turns into another goal. Crawford missed badly on that one too. 3-1. Ballgame.

You can't start a new calendar year without the Hawks getting their dicks kicked in for games at a time.

This roster is trash and there's nothing we can do about it because Cheech Toews takes up so much cap space. Tootoo and Desjardins combine for 52 games, zero points, and a net -1 in point shares.

I'm not gonna go bitch-cry in a corner b/c the Hawks lost a gimmick game on January 2nd.

Well, they'll have taken three points of the last twelve possible, is that cause for concern? or are you fine with .250 hockey?

6 skaters on the ice, and these assholes can't get it out of their own zone.

 That 4-seed is going to be awesome.

Maybe pothead Toews is going to take Baffoe's old job delivering pizzas, seeing as he doesn't seem to give a fuck about the hockey gig anymore.

Why is that a bad statement? I believe hockey to be the best game in the world and know plenty of like minded individuals who feel the same way. In fact, I'd say that 90% of the people who play hockey believe its the best game in the world.

I love ripping No-check, but absolutely nothing wrong with him calling hockey the greatest game in the world.

Now if he would've said the Winter Classic was the greatest hockey event in the world I'd be first in line to rip him a new one.

Hopefully after yesterday's debacle the Hawks are no longer invited to these outdoor shit shows. I hate these outdoor games so much, such a disgrace to hvae the best hockey players in the world compete in substandard conditions.

And 90% of the people that play baseball believe it's the best game in the world. And 90% of the people that play football believe it's the best game in the world. And 90% of the people that play basketball believe it's the best game in the world. And 90% of the people that play tennis believe it's the best game in the world. And 90% of the people that play golf believe it's the best game in the world.

I love hockey, but c'mon man. Even if it were 99% of people that play hockey think it is the best in the world... that isn't even a quarter of the people that would take baseball or football #1.

If you're doing a showcase game for your sport and you don't call the sport you played the greatest in the world, then what exactly are you saying?
