What’s the point? I understand he’s moving back to Chicago from Detroit (I thought he lived in Malibu) but he’s honestly more connected to the Wings with his years as a player and in their front office. This is probably a Rocky/John McD production trying to bring him back into the fold. I would have rather seen a more concerted effort to bring JR back into the Blackhawks family and not just at the Blackhawks convention.

JR is a hack as an analyst and whatever his role is on NBC but I have always thought his heart was in the right spot.
