The Sennies are better than anyone thought they'd be, the Hawks are much worse, as it happens they're about the same. Their owner compared Erik Karlsson to both Bobby Orr and Rod Langway, which is sort of like comparing someone to Alex Rodriguez and Mark Belanger. Emery in net against his longtime team. Hasn't fucked up yet, with 54 minutes left on the clock.

I'm watching TSN's feed, for a change of pace. I feel Canadian telecasts do a better job.

Jason Spezza sets up a beauty, whaddyagonnado. Longtime favorite of mine.

This Ottawa goalie is a bit of an unknown commodity. They should be able to score on him eventually.

Incidentally, how unbelievable is it that the 2003 Senators didn't win the Stanley Cup? Danny Alfredsson, Marian Hossa, Martin Havlat, Zdeno Chara, Jason Spezza, Mike Fisher, Chris Phillips, Wade Redden pre-sucking. Even Pat Lalime was pretty good, good enough, I mean. Fuckin' Jersey.

Emery with a perfunctory, but very lucky save against Alfredsson from Spezza late in the second. There were a hundred ways that could've gone worse.
