It's really starting to bother me how short Quenneville's leash can be on his rookies. He's turning into white Dusty Baker. Jimmy Hayes is demoted to like six minutes a night while Duncan Keith has been allowed to shit his pants on a virtually continuous basis for pretty much the last 150 games.

I'll budget for Mayers getting the benefit of the doubt, he's a longtime Quenneville guy and has had a decent year. Brunette should be locked in the same drawer that Brendan Morrison and Michael Frolik are in.
