The Saturday night recap...

- Preds fans are way too soft on opposing fans. They will learn over time about the art of spilling beer on opposing team fans.
- Felt more like a Wolves game with all the fan chants. The YOU SUCK chant needs to die a quick and painful death. Just watch the game and yell "lets go [insert team name here]" when necessary.
- Sat in 303, which I learned was the diehard fan section (yes, they have a few). Really cool people and many of them actually knew a lot about hockey. I was next to the equivalent of Stinkfinger, about as tall but with more debonair.
- Their fans hate Hossa and Kane, which is no surprise. I was really surprised though how much they hate Sharp.
- Had several random people on the street say "Go Indians!" and "Did the Chiefs win?", which probably says more about hockey than the people of the city.
- I am getting concerned that the Jersey Shore episode of South Park is becoming reality as evidenced by several Hawk fans in the section behind us.
- Don't cheer the anthem in other stadiums. No one understands it and then I have to spend a period explaining why Chicago is not a city filled with communists.
- Bars were fucking packed to the gills afterwards, but we still managed to get into Toosties where I recreated the infamous Sutter vs. Arnason incident.
- Highly recommend making the trip down there if there is a Saturday game.

Fans of both teams were also chanting Detroit Sucks, which I thought was a great idea considering neither team playing was from Detroit.
