is Monday.

Lots of Vermette/Sekera rumors out there. In theory, 88's injury could be a slight blessing in disguise if Stan makes the move for them and 88 comes back for the playoffs where there are no salary cap implications.

His LTIR'ing gives them roughly 6 million in additional flexibility right now.

Sekera to LA.

They are a scary damn team once again. I think I'd pick them in 7 over anyone right now.

Kings gave up a 1st round pick? That'll sting if they miss the playoffs and win the draft lottery.

This Kane thing could be a HUGE blessing in disguise IF he is able to come back for the playoffs.....

Bring me Vermette! (And a defenseman, I want one or two of those as well)

Heard this idea too. This is you have to find someone who you do not have to give up too much for. Also, they must be in end of contract as you do not want it next season. I like the odds if we can add and no cap restrictions.

Antoine Vermette's been traded apparently, Bruins/Hawks or Rangers. At least that's what some Canadian reporter is saying.

Hawks and Tampa were supposedly sniffing around Sekera but didn't want to part with a 1st. Good. No need to mortgage the future when injuries have screwed this year up.

As long as they have Karmanos and the Staals, the Carolina Country Club will endure.

Bigfan's guy Chevy is really going all in with the Jets. I wish them well.

I can't believe the Leafs found a way to dump David Clarkson. Good for their fans. There is hope in GTA.

Yeah, all they had to do was pay a guy $26.5MM over 5+ years to sit at home. LTIR exemption, though.

They'll get the same production from Horton sitting on his couch as Clarkson suiting up.

Clarkson played 118 games for the Leafs and was injured/suspended/scratched for another 24.

In that time he produced 26 points.

Yeah, that Clarkson contract was atrocious. It's ridiculous how much Toronto has to overpay to get players, and not even good ones. Hockey players are babies.

So I see Bowman's looking at Jeff Skinner? I suggest looking elsewhere.

I like Skinner. Hawks need a finisher since Sharp decided adultery is his priority.

Skinner is a nice novelty to have if you're not dealing with physical teams. The Blues and Kings would turn him to dust.
