Yeah I know Crawford won a Cup, but I think Q is feeling that Darling is the hot hand of late

I sent a meatball tweet to Real Fans Program a few weeks ago when Darling had the shutout along the lines of "Dis Darlin guy needs to start in the playoffs!".....little did I know people really felt that way.

You go with Crawford in the playoffs but after this season you look to dump his salary and have Darling take over.

I agree with this.

I'd shop Crawford to Buffalo. They have the space, I think (RIP Matthew Wuest), and the vibe I seem to get is that fans are happy to play along with the tank for a few more weeks but expect to get back to business next fall with McDavid/Eichel, Evander Kane, and their prospects. If Darling is ready and Crawford can be made to be waived, that would be an ideal destination. We don't need to ask for much back but cap relief.

Edmonton.

They've needed a goaltender since Roloson.

Might be able to package off a guy like Oduya over as well.

Exactly right. I never thought that Cro would finish out his ridiculous contract. Darling has been good & may have more upside. Cro isn't going to get any better.

Oduya's contract is up; all you'd be sending over are a couple weeks of negotiation rights, and for what, a conditional 7th?

Blame Canada's resource-intensive economy for putting the squeeze on us and making us irrational.

You've got it backward.

Shop Darling to Buffalo. They can have him dirt cheap as long they help Bickell shop for a new condo that allows dogs in the Niagara area.

Then we can keep the proven commodity who is heading into his prime.

Darling and Bickell to Buffalo works too, but doesn't address the possibility that people in the dressing room and office want Crawford (and Sharp) the hell out.

Wasn't there also suspicion that Crawford was another guy sticking it where it didn't belong?

Professional athletes tend to be promiscuous. Breaking news.

At some point, somebody, somewhere, is gonna realize the direction of the bad choices in the tragic circumstances of the equipment guy. He killed himself. Connect the dots, seriously. My God, stop believing the blowhard on the score.

At the end of the day, I think about women. I think about women's bodies. Maybe it'll change, and I'll wind up sleeping with old goalies. Things being what they are, who knows?
