especially playoff knowledge

What do I need to know for this series? What are the essentials of hockey?

You're going to know how long your brain can withstand a lack of oxygen before enduring damage. Start experimenting on that and we'll move on from there later.

The Hawks have to get the puck on the net, and our goaltender needs to make big saves.

Watch out for the 2nd period line changes. The benches are further away from the defensive zone.

I understand this thread is likely made in jest, but for anyone looking to learn more about Nashville, Committed Indian always does a nice job.

Pred's Goalie and D reviews are up. Forwards and Special Teams today I would guess.

It's not made in jest.

I promise to pay more attention to hockey starting with the playoffs. In fact, I have paid more attention this year, however incremental it may have been.

Go watch basketball. You're not smart enough for this sport. Or kill yourself, that works too.

You need every fan you can get. This desperation results in you having to accept me.

The team that wins 4 games in the series first will probably win.

They are very similar to the blackhawks except I don't think they have as much talent and i don't think their 3rd and 4th lines are quite as good as ours. Both kinda tapered off in the second half of the season. Kane should make a difference but this can also be a series where Keith can stand out. Hoping hossa doesn't look slow and has been saving something and shaw and versteeg aren't goofs. Oduya and rosival make me puke. Hope that rinne lets a few in but I don't count on that.

Kyle Cumiskey is back up. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the third pair, and fast.

I have a weird feeling about game 1. There's been too much talk about how the Hawks "know how to play in the playoffs," too much confidence about Kane coming right back, and we're loooooong overdue for a patented Corey Crawford pants-shitting. It's going to be 6-1 Nashville and scare the shit out of everyone, then the Hawks will win two or three in a row after that.

They always give us good games. Hoping they don't want it more and we play the way we are capable of.

so before we get too far into this thing, is racism a requirement to enjoy the sport or just a suggested trait?

Suggested.

You are thinking of soccer in regards to required racism.

Only toward the Russians. That's totally allowed.

If Roszival, Rundblad, or Carcillo are on the ice...be very afraid of bad things happening.

I think you mean Cuminskey.

I've been taking Blackhawks series lines for the past two years and only lost once.

And you're asking the masses to share knowledge? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
