Its not quite as different as the NFL is in person vs at home, but I'd rather watch a playoff game on my couch than at the United Center.

After seeing so many hawk fans in Anneheim, which isnt a cheap trip, I can only imagine the swarm of Hawk fans heading down to TB. Cheap flights, tickets , hotel rooms, lap dances, etc.

did I hear TB has set up some kind of area code restrictions on buying tickets and is looking to restrict the color of clothing worn to games?

There are enough CPD retirement communities in that area to undermine the restrictions alone.

Just got offered 100 level tickets at $250 face value for Saturday in Tampa. Money is tight right now so no go, plus I told my buddy that I'll only fly out of town for a Cup Clincher game like I did in 2010 in Philly.


As for the local games, I'm holding out for someone to give me a free ticket. It worked so far in round 1 and round 2, sat in the 100 level and then the lower level luxury box at center ice. Holding out for Pierre's seat between the glass for this round.

I haven't been to Tampa in a few years but the last time I was there for work ( 2012 ) took a late night road trip from Orlando with some co-workers to a
dance establishment called Mons Venus. OMG. The best place hands down. Anyone else been?

Went down there for Sring Break one year....looking back on the whole damn thing, it was like out of a bad bad SHOWTIME movie, that was some shit down there!!!!!!
