Looking at Toronto's roster and their #4 center appears to be Blackhawks washout Byron Froese! Boy, there's a name from the deepest, darkest corners of my hockey mind! 4th round pick in '09, bounced between the AHL and ECHL for years, and is now centering on an NHL team, albeit a purely nominal one.

The Leafs have Shawn Matthias and P.A. Parenteau in their top six and they're still hovering around fake .500. God, Babcock really is the best coach in the league, huh.

Tempting to look beyond this one but you never know. Mostly I'm worried about the Rozsival-Scuderi pairing in back-to-back road games. I have a feeling they eke out two more and then get spanked in Nashville.

The thing is too is that the Hawks are sloppy as shit tonight but the Leafs are going "oh yea? You don't know what sloppy is". I'm not sure if the Leafs would finish first in shakes' rec league.
