Keeping in mind, of course, that (a) Kane was about 5 years younger, and (b) Kane didn't get to play on a line that also had another him on it. :)

Who was on Kane's line his rookie year? Toews and...Rene Bourque? Tuomo Ruutu?

You know, Yanic Perreault from Kane's rookie season is still in the organization as a faceoof coach. Maybe he could get Danault to win one every once in a while.

Easily. Panarin is going to be one of the top players in the league for the next decade.

He might already be.

I realize it may be difficult to believe, but M & H had a really interesting interview with Panarin's agent on Friday. Stuff on how he ended up choosing to play for the hawks and what they think his ceiling may be. I think it was around 8:15.

Panarin is great... but we cannot look past the fact he is 24 so of course he should be ahead of 18/19 year old Patrick Kane.

That's one of the reason I don't get when people look down on Teuvo's production after seeing Panarin. He's 3 years younger than the breadman. Let's see what Teuvo is doing after 7 years of professional hockey.

The argument can be made that Kane is helping Panarin. That is true, but we also can probably say that Panarin is a big part of Kane's season where he is hitting career highs in every category.

Yeah, with you on that. I'm not giving up on Teuvo.

We forget Panarin is 24 because he looks 14. It's funny how all our young players look extremely young: Panarin, Teuvo, Toews and Kane when they were kids. Contrast with Dylan Larkin and Aaron Ekblad, who hit the scene as grown-ass men.
