Hawks are dead as a doornail if they can't beat this loser-ass team tanking by keeping its best goalie in the AHL. It's a backup on the road, which means that a first goal for Winnipeg is basically game over. It's statistically a near-certainty.

Welp, I'm not sure the Blackhawks have the talent to beat a Jets team missing two-thirds of its top line. And we have one-third of that line!

Now you know why they dumped Dano. Had no interest in back checking Kane on that goal. Terrible effort .

Season is over. Hawks won't be in the playoffs. Dead ass team. Toews sucks.

Nashville losing was big. That gives the Hawks some separation so they can hang on to their customary third place.

Hawks eventually did what they had to do and picked up a win against an AHL roster. That said, I still can't get over the fact that across three games with contenders from the Western Conference, they had an aggregate score of 4-12 and only by the grace of a last-second Panarin goal did they come away with one single standings point. Now they have to win against Minnesota, against whom they've gone 0-3 on the year and 6-13 in aggregate score.

Yeah it is hard to get over the fact that they still lose some games.

This run of games has nothing to do with how the playoffs will go. They still have a good shot at getting the Cup again.

Now if Crawford is hurt in the playoffs then that changes everything.
