After their early season performances I had no illusions about the Cats
this year. I expected them to lose and lose by a big margin today.
What I didn't expect was that they'd totally screw the pooch, get
humiliated, and physically annihilated.

This is the first time I've seen them this year due to the Comcast/Big Ten
pissing match. I'm one disappointed alum.

We looked like a high school team out there. Our Lady of the Frail Panzies. Ouch. I've officially been put in my place.... momma.

I got crap a couple weeks ago from NSJ about calling NU's 2-0 start "the most disappointing in the history of mankind." I think you all can fully appreciate exactly what I mean.

I'm upset. All I can say is that when college guys work that hard day in and day out, it's sad to see a game decided by poor officiating.

Let the NCAA offices review the calls.

Why does Northwestern always seem to wet the bed against OSU? It's not even close when they play. Michigan and Wisconsin they can hang with....OSU it's blowout city.

I was thinking more along the lines of joining the IHSA... but then again, I'd feel bad seeing how we'd fare against Mt. Carmel.

I am. A buddy of mine from NU is coming in town from Austin. He invited me to a tailgate. Any interest? Or is your squad doing it again?

Now that I think about it, it is a 11:00 AM start and I got my daughter's soccer game to coach at 9:00 AM. It'll take me at least an hour to get there. I'm hoping I get a better peformance out of the 5 year old girls than the Cats.
