Rashard Mendenhall added to his amazing stats this weekend. He ran for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He has 772 yards, 6.8 yards/rushing attempt, 10 rushing touchdowns, 18 receptions, 173 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. Suffice to say that Mike Hart is the only one that could arguably be better and he is running behind a line with Jake "makes a big frickin' hole" Long. hart has 976 yards, but only 5.5 yards per rushing attempt. They use him alot more than Illini use Mendenhall. He has 10 rushing TDs too. He only has 6 recptions for 36 yards and no receiving touchdowns.

Where is Mendenhall's Heisman ballot?

Needless to say, I'm a huge fan. I think Juice getting into a rhythm and Benn adding to the air attack threat has paid huge dividends for Mendenhall. You never can realize your full potential at a RB unless you have a decent passing threat to keep the LB's honest.

I love Illinois but Mike Hart is fucking awesome. Hes the best RB in the big 10, and top 3 in the country probably

I'd take Mendenhall. Hart's 2 best games this year were against App St. and E. Michigan. He's averaging 4.5 / carry against everybody else.

Mendenhall is averaging 7.4 yards/carry the past 2 years. His biggest problem was his tendency to fumble which he has cured. He has good speed and size and can drive through tacklers.

I like Illinois' line, I think they are probably above average but I doubt they are better than the freaks of nature they tend to get at Michigan.
