The kid from Evanston was given a waiver by them and played immediately. The kid from Loyola had to sit out a year.

Someone told me for hockey, even if you attend a Catholic school you can play for the public district you are in. Not sure if it's true or not.
Hockey is not an IHSA sport. They have their own rules.
