Number one team in the state and a top team nationally. So much for the high school team you play for mattering as much as AAU in recruiting. On a side note Nick Irvin and the Morgan Park adults causing drama after the game. Somethings never change over there. |

I don't know in this case but most city games use a 2 man crew to ref but IHSA assigns 3 man for playoffs. Sonny Cox used to bitchier about it going the other way. |

And winning. three of Curies starting five in November would be playing with King by January of the same year. I still can not believe that was the rule up until the mid 90s that you could transfer and play for two different schools in the same year. I think it was the Oak Park player who punched his coach and tried to play at Farragut a few weeks later that caused that rule to change. |

A couple of their kids are juniors and the ones that aren't will play college basketball based on their high school team's success. Also Mike deserves the credit for developing those kids. He and his staff are the ones responsible for the development of his players. It's not their AAU coaches If you look at the other teams around the city there are a number of unsigned players. They all will sign once the season is over. Their AAU careers are effectively over so their signings will be based on their high school team. |
