That's a sad story. But it seems like there's a chance everything works out okay. It's nice that the father admits his mistakes. |

That’s awful. Reads like he is talented. Hopefully he can catch on at a junior college and make some impressions. |

The homeless part has become all too familiar with these kids. I had a teammate who was in similar circircumstances and was suicidal. Fortunately our coach stepped in & helped him work through it. And told us how important it was to support our teammates/friends, without telling anyone details. |
