I saw my first Illini game of the year. There are some legit players on that team. Where did they all come from in one year without seemingly any notice from the papers?

I guess it took a while but I seem to recall the reason they grabbed this coach was that he was a big recruiter. Legal? No idea but great recruiter.

Agreed. Kofi will have some setbacks this year but he is a skilled guy for his size. The talent level he was playing last night was not formidable.

Based on his size alone, he might just move on after one year but I hope he does not.

Ayo has not been making a good NBA case for himself so far this year but he will come around.

Illinois needs a few signature wins in the preconference just like every other team besides MSU. The Big Ten seems to be mostly garbage this year. It's going to hurt everyone.

They have Miami, Michigan, Mizzou and Maryland coming up quick.. I think they can go 3-1

Just got another one. #30 overall in the country.

#1 Recruiting class in the Big 10. #11 overall.

With Chin on the staff they will continue to have a line to the City and kids that play for the Fire especially. He is the Irvin's guy going back about 30 years.

I understand this is how it works with some recruits but announcing one day after the signing period and then saying that is basically an open call to other programs.

Crazy how that works. And Ayo was High School teammate for a year. You figure that would be the primary reason for him to sign but i guess not.

Heard they used to have some fierce battles in practice with Miller getting the best of it on most occasions.
