Actually, I agree with him, and I really, really despise writers and journalists who get riled up when they report crap and then hide behind "search for the truth" garbage. I think the coach is right on this. Protect your players. |

About damn time someone said how out of control the media has been swept up with the college craziness. And the reporter keeps defending it! Even Michael Wilbon (who can be hard as nails at times) even said, "No, you don't call a college athlete 'soft.' That's going too far." The whole damn college scene gets far too crazy. Hell, even pro sports, a team has a chance of making the playoffs/championship game with a few losses. But this whole damn BCS crap has a team eliminated as soon as they loose a game. For that reporter to keep on bringing herself back into the story is obnoxious. |
