This seems like kind of a big deal to me because usually the number 1 team only drops after a loss. LSU looks damn good from what I have seen so far so I dont disagree, but hopefully these two teams distinguish themselves as the best in the country and we can see a rare best team vs second best team in a BCS National Championship that seems rare ever since the BCS was introduced.

Michigan loses to App. State and Oregon and the Big Ten is overrated.
Florida, Oklahoma, Texas all lose. No one talks about their conference.
USC struggles with the same Oregon team, no one talks about their conference.
Louisville, West Virginia both were predicted to be tops in their conference and that looks to be incorrect, no one talks about their conference.

Just watch though for the first time that Wisconsin loses. Just watch if Purdue beats Ohio State next weekend. The Big 10 will be overrated.

LSU and USC are the class of college football. The other conferences are all about even after that.
