Doug, Irishboy, anyone else

Is there any chance the Irish can keep the Navy streak alive? Navy doesn't have an impressive resume this year either, but they usually play Notre Dame tough even when they're good. They are going to be thirsty to break the drought.

There's a chance. I honestly put the game at about 50/50. My God is that pathetic.

Navy is down this year at 4-4 with recent losses to Delaware (59-52!) and Wake Forest. Their starting QB is questionable this week. This team still likes to run the ball. They average 343 yards a game on the ground and Notre Dame has trouble stopping the run, giving up 190 yards on the ground a game.

Also, Navy absolutely sucks on defense, giving up 38 points a game. They like to give it up both on land and in the air.

I'd be shocked if ND didn't score at least 28 in this one. That might be enough to win it, but I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole.

This game should be very interesting... if Navy wins I think Notre Dame will have a LOT of thinking to do.... wow is Notre Dame bad this year....

I'm not a fan nor a basher of ND but I thought that ND would win the game after the pass interference call. It just seemed like something that would turn the tide in that game.

Most entertaining game of the day (duh).

So Notre Dame loses to Navy after 40 something years, in overtime.... I think Notre Dame's era is over....

Can it be that ND just did their patriotic duty by supporting the (future) servicemen and women in a way only they could??

Go Air Force!!!!!

You must not have watched LSU/Bama - that was a great game.

okay I have kept my ND hatred in check, but that phantom pass interference penalty in the 3rd OT pissed me off, and then fat fuck runs the ball when he knew if someone breathed on his WRs another flag would inevitably fall, you get what you deserve fat boy happy 1-8!!

sorry this will be my only jab at ND this year but damn it felt good.

Navy got one earlier which kept a drive alive to score a TD too. I just don't know how dumbass didn't at least try the FG in regulation. The kicker has 48 yd this year so there's a sporting chance.

There were many, many good games all day. It was a great time to sit in front of the TV at a boring family party.
