8-1 I will be attending the Cats versus Blue Demons game this weekend with about 500 others. My dad still remembers the Demon glory years and wanted to go. |

I think Northwestern got it right with the hire of Collins. I cannot imagine how quickly he leaves if they make an NCAA tournament |

I think all those ex assistants are trying to position themselves to get it. My guy tells me Wojo was the anointed one but who knows. It seems like most of those guys underwhelm in their first try and then exceed expectations at the second job. Amaker and Dawkins have both been doing nice jobs. |

If they get are .500 in conference with a couple of signature wins and 1-2 wins in the conference tournament, they should be good. Otherwise they will be one of those teams in the NIT that look good but get trounced by a smaller name school with an objectively better record. |
