Does anyone know of places in the city that repair cellphones? It's no longer on warranty. I'd rather pay to have it fixed than buy a new one or get one of those cheesy models they have at AT&T stores for $20+contract.

Don't buy a go phone and put your sim card in it. You used to be able to do that, but AT&T has stopped that and if you tried to do that, you contract would be terminated and you would be charged the termination fees.

Look for a "refurbished" phone. 19 times out of 20, a "refurb" phone was never really 'used.' Generally, the phone is in the process of being programmed and the customer changes thier mind or doesn't have enough $, so it needs to be sent out and restored to factory settings. So while its still basically a new phone, a refurb is much cheaper than brand new phone.
