15th Annual event, and last year they had over 1100 cars I think. Wasn't able to attend last year but went the year before and it was a good time if
you like looking at old and new cars. They are all parked downtown, which is closed just for walking patrons. Show is free of charge. You'll
see everything from Model T's to Ferraris there. Lots and lots of muscle cars. Just thought I would toss it out there if you happen to be near
the northern burbs and enjoy this kind of thing. Open for viewing 9am - 4pm. If it rains then they push it to the following weekend.

I have a tournament in Kenosha this weekend so thanks for the warning. I’ll be sure to avoid downtown.

 Glad I could be of assistance. You going to be over at Nash Park for baseball?

Yep. I like when they play tournaments there. It’s actually pretty easy to get to and I can watch a couple games at a time while sitting at a picnic table. Can’t beat that.

Plus I get to run by the Brat Stop and load up on Spotty and brats. You really can’t beat that.

I live less than a mile from that park. I've met Hawg over there before when his son was playing. It is a pretty good location and you
are close to places to eat if you need to grab something. You'll be plenty far from the downtown area. If I wasn't running around all
day I'd stop by and keep you company for a little while.

We tried to meet there a couple times but it never worked out. If you talk to him tell him I said hello and I hope everything is good with him. Thanks

FFS....Brat Stop is garbage. Go downtown
1) Burgers from Captain Mike's. The one on the highway is meh, but the downtown one is awesome
2) Public Brewing Co.
3) Stop at Woodman's by the highway on your way out of town and stock up on New Glarus. Be sure to add Moon Man and Two Woman in equal or greater quantities than Spotted Cow

I'd have to say as far as touristy spots go that Mars Cheese Castle > Brat Stop but I probably would defer to Woodmans for buying most beers.
Mars has a really good selection but they are about 15% higher than other places I usually go to. They have a nice and clean little bar and some
good beers on tap. I haven't been to the Brat in a while but that place is filthy every time I have been in there. Downtown has a couple of good
spots for a burger and food and two breweries ( Public and Rustic Road ).

That's exactly what I'm saying. I haven't bought a spotted cow in years....New Glarus has far better beer than Spotted Cow.

It's a shame, but I've actually never been to the Mars cheese castle. Definitely on my list of things to do, but we've just never ended up going there.

That place is massively overpriced.

Agreed, it is a total tourist trap. I am not paying $12 to $15 for a bomber of Toppling Goliath when I can get the same thing for under $10 at
Tenuta's or Woodmans. Like I said, they have a nice little bar with good food and a nice selection on tap but you can keep the rest of the meat,
cheese and marked up beer and wine.

I don't think anyone was going to this but just as a BUMP... they aren't deciding whether they are doing the show until tomorrow morning at 6am.
I have never heard anything so goofy. Rain out date is next Saturday which also looks rainy right now. Shouldn't be that bad between 9-4 tomorrow
so I hope they pull the trigger on it. If I was bringing my car from far away I would be pissed that they can't decide by now.

I watched the radar this morning and it looked intermittent between 9 and 3. Bad early and bad later.

Bump.... this was postponed to this weekend. 9am - 4pm. No idea what kind of car turnout they expect since it was cancelled from last weekend.
My guess is they will still get a good turnout since I'm sure a lot of the cars are probably from within a 100 mile radius. Anyway, the weather should
be great for it and a nice time for people who love looking at cars. Should be a good time if you happen to be up this way.
