I bought 3k worth of cresco a month ago, seems to be going up steady.. should explode after the dispensary opens up. Still early, get in cheap now while ya can. I could see this hitting 50$ a share in a couple years.

I bought some Wesson stock after Florence promised me on her death bed it would rise like crazy.

There's a better risk/reward with CTST

I've got a shitload of GTBIF. I think it will do okay, but I'm not really looking for a home run ball.

I don't know much about stocks, if I have an extra few bucks I'll take a chance a couple times a year. What do you like about it?

Bogle 3-Fund Strategy:

- 60% Total US Stock Market index fund
- 20% International Stock index fund
- 20% Total US Bond Market index fund

Contribute monthly, rebalance twice a year. Go about your business.

Petramco Corp. Out of Springfield. I think. They're about to introduce some sort of robot butcher.

I loved listening to John Bogel, and Sir John Templeton talk finance. Bogel the inventor of the index fund. But , Bogel's buy and hold strategy is interesting. Many like me got taken to the woodshed in 2000-2002 when the S & P 500 was down near 47%. I got hit worse because I was too tech heavy. A guy I worked with in his early 20s lost 500k in his ira trading all tech. It took a long time for me to recoup. Luckily I didn't get spooked and sell at the bottom, and wasn't in all tech. Then by no brilliance on my part, just a plan I laid out in 2000-2002 I got out 100% of stock in 2008 and avoided the 38% banking crash. Banks were offering 5-6 % CDs. Got back in with the fed QE. Now keep my stock exposure at 35-40% strictly broadly diversified low cost index funds/ETFs, no sectors, no individual stocks.

Likewise, I let the money fund managers make the calls for me, I don't have the time nor interest to watch the markets daily.

A few individual stock winners (buying DE at $29, WHR at $40) have been offset by complete losses like Lionel, RAD, (and almost GE). I even jumped off my own company stock when I was sure it would never make $70, it was at $95 yesterday...

I just think with more and more states legalizing weed, the demand will go up. This stock has hit the high 8's and 9's a few times.

I sat in a public hearing at which their leaders were speaking. They don't expect to turn a profit for a while.
