I have no idea. Sox were up there 2 years ago I think (Buehrle hit a HR!). The Brewers play at the Cell this summer.

I really wish they would just have 1 Cubs Sox series each year (alternate home fields) and have the Sox and Brewers play each year. It would really make for a fun little rivalry and road trip.
Cubs could play Cleveland or the Twins each year and I think you would get a lot of people making that trek as well. Lots of Iowa Cubs fans would travel north to Minne, and a lot of the downstate and Indiana Cubs fans would trek to Cleveland.

I'd very likely attend this event again.

that would be good for revenue; but rivalry wise i don't think it would work, as i discovered that brewers and sox fans are pretty much one in the same.

You could say the same about Cubs and Twins fans.

Any interest in this? I'll go whenever, it doesn't have to be the Cubs series. This weekend still works for me though.

As long as we are in town, and don't have baseball I am in. Any time any of you ever want to come up for a game, just let me know.

That date still isn't quite set in stone.

I don't think attendance is a problem during a non-Cubs series.

I'm making the trek to Minnesota this season to see the Cubs play at Target Field. Bored outing there?

Hmm...

Please record the antics of IMU and DB on their road trip to the Twin Cities in the hot wagon. We'd like to share in your adventures.

There wouldn't be any room. Where would I put the chair?

It's a station wagon. There's always room in a station wagon.

The truck shall be in much better shape this time around, so I'd be driving and won't have to rely on Amtrak, or IMU tying me to the back of the hatchback.

You can fly round-trip for under $200 to Minny.

You might have to sacrifice an evening at Smith & Wollensky with your lady.....provided your lady doesn't order wine, appetizers, a normal sized steak, or dessert.

Is this going to happen again or not?

Im still planning a trip up to Minnesota for the June 8-10 Cubs series. Any bored members want to have a meetup at Paisley Park?

This actually reminds me...if anyone is going to the Cell to see the Sox/Brewers series at the end of June, the lady and I are going to the Sunday afternoon game, and we can do some tailgating or meet up for drinks beforehand.

I would love to do this again and Boyd I would like to come down to see the Sox play, we have never been to that stadium. It is just hard with Hawg Jr.'s baseball schedule to predict when we can and can't.

I can almost guarantee tickets will still be available when the schedule comes out.

I will seriously take a look at that then, we have been wanting to come down there.

Start your own thread.

I would suggest the Nascar section.
