Wow, that's phenomenal Nas. I'm about to start my real weight loss journey leading up to back surgery. I got about 3 months and I want to drop 15.

Thanks for the wishes.

The doctor who did Duhon's is doing mine. Same procedure - I have some bad tingling in my feet and legs when I sit so it's basically arthroscopic for a herniated disc. Allegedly, back to normal in 8 weeks and able to do most things within 2 weeks. I haven't set a date yet, but looking to do it in March since the primary rehad activity is walking and I want to be able to do it outside. Biggest downside is the fact that I can't lift anything for 4 weeks (including the kids).

I've gone cold turkey on just about everything. I'm still surprised I've been able to keep it going. Has to be the competition and the motivation from some of you guys. Normally after a month I end up going back to bad Nas. Maybe it's giving up the alcohol too because I've never given that up in the past. Whatever it is I'm glad it's working and I feel a lot better.

Cold turkey works in the short term but you need to start working stuff back in. In the end, it's all about moderation. If you continue to go cold turkey, you may fall off that bandwagon hard one of these days. Good job man.

That's crazy man. Props to you!

At some point during this spring I'm going to attempt to do a water diet, which is basically a fast, and requires absolute insanity.

Thankfully, I'm a retard so it should all work out.

But Nas, my hats off, don't give up!

Nas that is awesome. Keep it going. It is true, no alcohol makes a really big difference...I know you can't give it up forever, just try and save it for occasions...you're doing great!

That might be true, but after breaking my three-week incursion into healthy eating last night with a whole lot of pizza, I'm finding that I get the same feeling after eating a lot that I do after drinking alot. Maybe I always did, but I never noticed it. It was nice to get a change of pace, but man, I feel absolutely horrible today.
