At 290, down .0035 %. Found out what shin splints feel like. I can't even use the treadmill any more, I have to go on the sissy-ass eliptical machines with the fat chicks, how embarrasing.

Maybe a good time to start kicking the shit out of yourself working out then if things aren't going well. That's what works for me at least as evidenced by my recent lifting binge largely due to the whole divorce thing. Makes you feel good and gets your mind off the crappy stuff. Plus there's a lot of eye candy for everyone at the gym which is always a good thing. Probably completely different with kids though.

Ironic you mention this. I was at the gym today and if you like gawking at older, obese, sweaty, hairy men then LTF in Burr Ridge is the place for you. Some of the women were cute but I'm not into them.

I'm doing what I can. I'm still not feeling 100% back to normal after surgery. I've tried weights a few times but it still doesn't feel right.

Sorry, I only like gawking at older obese sweaty hairy women from Park Ridge. Close though.

Apparently I go to this new age type gym in the west loop because the trainers do all this strange workout stuff with their clients. All work on those balls with the rubber cable things. Rarely if ever to they use traditional weights. It's really interesting, not sure what the deal is but some of the people have made huge improvements in a short time so it must do something. Maybe doing some of that lower impact hippie stuff would work better if you're still recovering?

When I was at band camp, none of the fat chicks would have been able to catch me. Now, I'm not so sure.
