I think you've posted a lot of things that were really out of line. Initially I assumed you were joking but then it appeared you got real comfortable doing it. That's my personal opinion. I dont think anyone besides IMU himself has suggested he leave.

He asked for a vote, lost, didnt like it and now he's leaving.

Hardly a lynching or mob action.

Truthfully, he probably thinks the board will miss him and this is an ego driven departure. Maybe the board will miss him. It will certainly press on though.

Maybe just stop being a jagoff IMU?

I've only really had a problem with one thing IMU said. We dealt with it and it's done.

Seperate from that incident, I decided not to engage in coversation with him too much lately. Not because of any animosity or anger (there is none) but because it seemed like he was just saying shit to bother people or draw attention to himself. Just didn't feel like being bothered with that.

He's a good poster. Sometimes funny. Opinionated. I've got no problem with him. I could just do without the constant need to piss off others...

Now that IMU has apologized to me, and has acknowledged the numerous past transgressions he has done to me, I will firmly and seriously state that I would like IMU to return to the board after he first actually quits the board. I would think that his self imposed midnight departure date should result in no more than 8-16 hours away with a return sometime between the "What's for lunch" thread and the "drinky board" thread times.
