One thing the city does amazingly for this event is the cleanup!

Minutes after the parade is done, the crews start at the REAR (No better place for this event0 and start picking up the fences,the next immediate wave is about 100 guys cleaning up trash, emptying cans into one of 20 garbage trucks and then 6 street cleaners a few feet behind them.

Maybe the most efficient thing the city does.

It has become nothing more than an excuse to party for gays and straights alike. The city shuts down the south side Irish parade because the "partying" got out of hand, but they let this spectacle happen every year? Bull shit.
