Nope. I've got mine.

Ayup ..... that was ..... that ..... that was professional right there.

BTW I never did get an answer to who made that corn dip stuff .... maybe it's simple, maybe a 2 year old can make it, maybe not .... it was a triumph nonetheless.

Speaking of triumphs, DS & DSW are triumphs of the human race ... even if they have a fruity red "truck" parked out front .... :D

Great time. Great hosts as usual. Was good to see the regulars again, and to have some of the lodge up for such a fun event. Was an earlier night this year, but still tons of fun. This consistently one of the best parties of the year for me and my girl (not just board events, but one of the best parties in general), and we look forward to it for weeks on end.

Good times, good food, cold beer! Hope to see more of you there next year!

I like to party..

Darkside should rent out space to a cardiologist to set up a booth at that party next year.

The blue cooler is ours. I didn't feel like dumping Don Tiny's beverages into the lawn.

I ended up taking home about 10 smirnoff bitch beers that someone put in my cooler. :(

Rah and I thought that this year felt "faster" overall. We were there for a good 7.5 hours and it flew by.

It is one of the best parties of the summer.

Btw: The Lakemoorfest fireworks are the best I've ever seen. Better than the (old) Chicago show, Fox Lake (Mineola's on the Chain), Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Racine, Mackinac Island, Wisconsin State Fair, etc...The Disney's/Epcot shows might be apt comparison. They are that good.

Frank, did you make the pork tenderloins? I totally missed them if you did... :(

I made them in a drunken stupor either right after you guys left or as you were leaving. I clipped my music light onto my hat so I could see what I was cooking. I ate some of it, but I don't remember if anybody else had some.

Epcot is better only because of the lights, lasers, and the buildings around World Showcase. As far as just fireworks goes, Lakemoorfest is as good as it gets.

Frank, I'm sure many of the attendees could have helped you see lasers during the fireworks.

Franks brain tends to slow down the later it gets...I think he was sleep walking while he was cooking it.

True story: I received this text the other day and was a bit confused.

Heather: "Hi this is Heather from the board. We are trying to find the owners of a grey car with Mississippi plates. If it is yours or know who it belongs to please call.

Me: :? (thinking who is Heather from the board)
"CSFMB? Right? I've not been on much lately. Does this have something to do with Darkside's Lakemoorfest party?"

Heather: "I was talking about a car parked on Sycamore Ct. with Mississippi plates. Homeowners say it hasn't moved and wanted it towed if it does not belong here."

Me: "Oh....Heather from the condo asssociation.....gotcha. I was thinking you were someone from a sports message board I go to. No, I don't have any idea. If it's "such and such car" that's parked by my place near my back yard with Wisconsin plates, then that would be my father's vehicle...not Mississippi."

Heather: "Oh ok. I didn't check. Is it going to be there long?"

(and so more of the texts continue about policy and nonsense)

It was very much a Three's Company text exchange without the sexual innuendos.

It's a sad man who moves to NWI in order to escape Wisconsin.
