I forgot to mention that I had a nice 15-second conversation with Les in the can. Yes, we both had our pants on. Something along the lines of me saying it was nice to see/hear him while the sun was up for a change, and his reply was stumbled around it's always a nice day to be alive when the sun's out.

Also in attendance at a table far, far away from the good and decent folks there to honor me was Grid ... and, while I can't be certain as I haven't seen her since Bowling II and nearly turned to stone then, I think we had a CGS sighting as well. If it wasn't her, then I can't possibly imagine why he was so vigorously waving in a short but particularly striking physical calamity on the order of, say, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius with what appeared to be a Raggedy Ann wig on. I thought about yelling "Hamas-loving baby killer!" but the waitress had brought me another Gentleman Jack, so my mouth was needed elsewhere.
