The winner of this challenge is Hank Scorpio with 47 points. Scored big with Giordano's penalty minutes and Bouwmeester's long ice time. Second place was Hawg Ass with 43.5... he would have won if it weren't for that pesky 5 point penalty that one of the advantage winners enacted either directly or randomly. Final scores were:

I'm going to be traveling the next couple of weekends, so the schedule will change up just a bit. The next challenge will be for Monday, and will be NBA related -- I will post this tomorrow evening. The voting deadline will be Wednesday evening for that challenge, and the final challenge will be the next Sunday (the 13th), but you can earn extra points by submitting portions of your entry earlier -- I'll explain when we get closer.

Did I really have any other choice? If I didn't win this challenge I was toast, and I used what gave me the best chance. I used it against T.P. and Hawg was randomally selected as the 2nd. I didn't care who was randomally selected for the -5 as long as it wasn't Boyd. The odds were in our favor that he wouldn't be chosen. I made the right choice, it just didn't work out.

This challenge is for Monday night when Da Bool faces New Orleans. Buckets and players, a great combination.

Your mission is to pick which of these buckets of players will score the most in a given category. There are five buckets for each category. The group scoring the most in the category will be worth five points. The second group will be worth four, the third will be three, the fourth will be two points and there are no points awarded for the last place in that group. If there are ties, all tied groups will be awarded the highest amounts. For instance, say group A has 4 blocks, B has 3 blocks, C has 1 block, D has 1 block, and E has 3 blocks -- A would get 5 points. B and E would get 4 points each, and C and D would get 2 points each.
